Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

I have been absolutely in love with this smoothie recently. I always have frozen bananas in my freezer and typically have the other ingredients on hand to make this for a quick snack or dessert! The bananas make it super creamy, while the cinnamon adds a hint of spice that pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the honey.

Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

If you don't have frozen bananas, you can use fresh bananas. Just add extra ice so your smoothie is still cold!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen banana (or 1 fresh banana)
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/4 cup ice
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  • Place the banana, peanut butter, cinnamon, honey, ice, and milk in the blender. Blend on high for a minute or until smooth.
  • If your smoothie is too thick, then slowly add more milk until it is the consistency of your liking. You also may want to stir the smoothie halfway through blending to get anything that may have stuck to the sides.
  • Enjoy immediately after blending!

Notes

I typically use skim or whole milk, but this recipe is also delicious with almond or oat milk!
