Coleslaw

Homemade coleslaw is so easy to throw together. I like to make it a few hours or even a day before so the flavors have time to fully develop the fridge. Enjoy on the side of burgers, inside wraps or fish tacos, or on pulled pork sandwiches!

Coleslaw

A pre-shredded bag of slaw mix works just as well as chopping up your own cabbage.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 small cabbage chopped or 14 oz bag of pre-shredded slaw mix
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl whisk together the mayonnaise, white vinegar, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Add chopped cabbage and mix until coated in slaw sauce.
  • Enjoy immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

If you want your slaw to be lighter and healthier, you can replace half of the mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt. 
Feel free to add additional veggies to your slaw like shredded carrots, red peppers, and green onions.
