Hi, my name is Jamie!
I started The Evolving Cookbook because I love to experiment in the kitchen. I like to make a dish multiple ways with different ingredients and processes until I create my absolute favorite version. Every recipe you see here is something I make and enjoy on a regular basis.
I am constantly adding new recipes to my collection of dinners, breakfast prep, and fun weekend treats. I tend to cook healthy meals with ingredients that I can find at our local grocery store, but I also love to explore new flavors. Much of my dessert inspiration comes from my grandma who makes the most spectacular treats. From breakfast to late-night snacks, I hope you find a recipe you love!
When I’m not in my kitchen, I’m in a lab at work where I serve as a Senior Food Scientist for a chocolate company in Madison, Wisconsin. I live with my husband, who’s appetite has helped shape the portion sizes of most dishes you’ll find here, and our mini-doodle, Izzy.
